With over 20 years of professional experience, Jennifer Yarde is the Senior Librarian at the National Library Service where she acts in coordination with government libraries to ensure they are properly set up and following policies and procedures. Jennifer also developed a program called Leap Into Reading to help children with literacy. Jennifer holds a Master's degree in Literacy, Teaching and Reading from the University of the West Indies and an additional Master's in Library Science. She is also a member of the International Reading Association and was the recipient of the NICE Award. Moving forward, she hopes to become library director and to network as much as possible with likeminded professionals. When not engaged with work, Jennifer enjoys reading, sports and the arts.
