Jennyfer Salvo, currently the Director of Softpower Connections, is an esteemed professional with over 23 years of experience in international communications and marketing, public diplomacy, international business, and journalism. In her current role, she works closely with her clientele to develop seamless business strategy in transitioning to an international level, coaches companies, and applies her unprecedented skill in public policy. Prior to her work at Softpower Connections, Ms. Salvo received her Master's degree in International Relations from the Reuters Foundation. She then jumpstarted her career as a journalist, most notably interviewing the former presidents of Russia and Israel. Ms. Salvo then refocused her work in Chile where she reported on the Chilean government and worked closely with five consecutive presidents. After finding great success there, she decided to transition into the business sector, where her expertise was applied seamlessly. A prolific writer, Ms. Salvo is published often in Chile and serves as a columnist in several newspapers. Additionally, she is a lauded public speaker and is frequently requested at conferences and seminars to lecture on her innovative approach to public diplomacy and communications. She was selected to be a part of the Vital Voices Engagement Program and is a member of Comunidad Mujer. Moving forward, Ms. Salvo hopes to consolidate her company and to work seamlessly with the government while continuing to harness the values most important to her work, forging honest connections with likeminded professionals, working hard, and remaining flexible and creative.
