Jody Jacob-McVey is Managing Director at EquiSense Solutions LLC. She began her career in investment banking and served in that capacity for 17 years. In 2008, Jody began working more with horses and became a personal trainer. In 2015, she opened her business, Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP).
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy incorporates horses experientially for mental and behavioral health therapy and personal development. It is a collaborative effort between a licensed therapist and a horse professional working with the clients and horses to address treatment goals. Jody is the sole proprietor and is in charge of finding clients and writing the programs. She attributes her success to her enthusiasm and belief in what she is doing. She feels all things will come to her if she can see them and prides herself of the impact that she has had on women in regards to personal development. Jody is a member of Women In Sports Entertainment (WISE) and the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
