Over the last 10 years, Josephina Pepin, ViceChancellor of Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Ureña, has shared her knowledge and expertise as a Professor and Administrator of Pedro Henríquez Ureña National University (UNPHU). Currently, she holds the position of Projects, Investigation and Interrelations Vice-Chancellor at (UNPHU) in the Dominican Republic. She has more than 30 years of executive and management experience in telecommunications, government, consumer products, and the education industries. At the university, she is overseeing many projects including those related to small businesses, the environment, alumni business projects and others. She has been an international speaker, course facilitator and writer and for over 20 years has represented the Dominican Republic in International Conferences in Costa Rica, Cuba, Panamá, Chile, Puerto Rico and United States and is a recognized Project Management expert. She has also been a Project Consultant in many Dominican companies and international organizations such as: Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), International Spanish Cooperation Agency (AECID), World Bank (BM). Moving forward, Josefina hopes to be a women who is a model and leader for other women showing them women can be empowered and hold the top positions in the biggest companies. In her spare time, she enjoys travel, reading, cooking and movies.
