I have been a CISO at the NIH Clinical Center for seven years. Previously I have worked for the DoD, IRS, and the big five consulting firms as well as Northrop Grumman for several years in various fields such as: Network/system engineering, project management, security, training development and implementation, etc. In addition to having a full time job, I also direct a dance company called BollyNatyam Masala, and have a healing practice called Power of Healing 360.

Jothi Dugar has been a prominent and leading Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the National Institutes of Health Clinical Center for the past 7 years. Being one of just a handful of women in this role worldwide, Jothi brings dynamic leadership skills and unmatched expertise in Cyber Security and Information Technology. After receiving her Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, Jothi went on to gain broad experience in various fields such as training development & implementation, engineering, project management, and finally Cybersecurity. She is an active member and leading candidate of various women and minority outreach programs and efforts, as she is very passionate about inspiring other women to reach outside their comfort zones and succeed in technical fields. Jothi is a powerful and avid speaker, and has given keynote speeches at many top conferences as well as radio interviews on various topics. She is passionate about female empowerment and hopes to network internationally with like minded female professionals as much as possible. Jothi has undergone quite a lot in her personal life, including defeating the odds after serious medical complications through her own positive thinking and undergoing holistic healing remedies. She is truly passionate about helping people heal themselves and enabling them to advocate for their own health. She has a healing practice called Power of Healing 360, and hopes to help millions of people across the globe one day! She also runs a dance company called BollyNatyam Masala where she teaches dance to young kids and inspires them to be their best and never give up!
