Karen Grant is the Chair of Northern Ontario Angels. She first became aware of angel investing while heading up the Toronto Venture Group. She launched her first angel group in 2001, called the Toronto Angel Group.
In 2005 she wrote the plan for, and was a founding director of the Northern Ontario Angels. Since incorporating in September 2011, Angel One has attracted over 140 active investor members. The company is ranked as one of the top 3 angel groups in Canada. Her success comes from her a never-ending passion for learning and staying current on all the trends within the marketplace.
