- in Electronics 18 years, at company as Business Development Director 2 years then as Tactical Director 1 year - Runs teams across the world with a focus on customer service - Ireland, Bordeaux, Massachusetts, Shanghai, Italy & China - speaks in an industry-specific context, most often to customers - got her start growing up in Hong Kong, she was very sales-oriented. Returned to the UK, started working in a restaurant and hated it, sought a position in sales along with a challenge, and ended up in electronics, which was a growth area at the time. Was also fortunate that the owner of that company was a woman and provided mentoring as well. - rewarding - developing a team, finding each person's strengths and weaknesses, and helping them achieve ,more than they thought they could both individually and as a group - goals - has been working very hard the last 3 years, would like to take a break reconnect with family and friends, then look for her next challenge, and see what else is out there. Possibly working with a startup or move into a different area - all benefits, especially networking and development.
