Dr. King D. Godwin has more than 44 years of professional experience in his career. Currently, he is working in Rustin, Louisiana as an Adjunct Professor at Grambling State, but is otherwise retired. Prior to his retirement in May of 2018, he was the Former Dean of Arts and Sciences as well as a Professor at Grambling State University.
Dr. Godwin holds his PhD from Virginia Tech, a Master's degree from Boeing State, and a Bachelor of Art and Ed. D. from Argosy University. Additionally, he is active with Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity and Theta Alpha Phi fraternity. Dr. Godwin does public speaking as a guest speaker at universities and churches, as his wife is a minister. In the next few years, he plans to stay active and to continue to make a difference where he can, as he is very passionate about this field.
In his spare time, Dr. Godwin enjoys playing the piano and is an avid reader.
