She wanted to give a voice so that people could tell their stories in their own way not just the perspective of other people. It’s about owning the narrative. The company strings together her passions for numbers and writing. KHADI MANSARAY BIOGRAPHY Khadi Mansaray was born and educated in Sierra Leone before she moved to London where she trained as chartered accountant (FCCA). She’s an all-rounder; publisher, writer, entrepreneur and activist who is passionate about social justice and feminism. A strong advocate for women’s rights and invisible disabilities. A former accountant and project manager with a wealth of experience gained in the financial industry and volunteering. Her portfolio career combines her financial background and interests in journalism and social justice. She was an employee of Direct line insurance and RBS insurance before starting her publishing Business in 2013. The founder/CEO of Sondiata Global Media, an independent publishing house for writers who wish to tell the African story with the ‘African Voice’ and Nefertiti Reborn, a platform for women writers and women who are aspiring to lead. She is also the founder/CEO of EasyGlam a clothing label that provides comfortable and easy to wear, attractive and glamorous clothing with an ethnic twist for people with mobility or dexterity problems. She Is a trustee of PWSF, a charity that helps teenage mothers and under privileged girls in Sierra Leone get an education and of the Lunchbox Project which helps feed School children in Sierra Leone. Also, a freelance journalist, she wrote for Ebola Deeply, a News Deeply section that covered the Ebola epidemic in West Africa. During this period, she also hosted the radio show Overcoming Ebola. She writes for GoWoman magazine and PoliticoSL newspaper. Selected by the Royal Society of Arts to be a Diaspora Changemaker she actively participates in Common Purpose leadership programmes. Because of Khadi’s ingenious spirit, the many facets of her life and career to date and her passion for the projects she engages in she naturally draws people to herself and her work resulting in her bringing people together to form meaningful partnerships. In the next few years she would like to continue publishing more books. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
