Kristine M. Hesse is Director Women Veterans Outreach at the National Veterans Foundation. A veteran herself, Kristine served 24 years in the US Air Force as NCOIC, Commander's Support Staff, member of 31st Test and Evaluation Squadron, 412th Maintenance Operations Squadron and 450th Test and Evaluation Squadron.
Kristine is passionate about her role, serving fellow veterans in her local community. She assists with information about benefits, employment, housing and more. As a member of the Vet Hunters team, she meets and understands the needs of homeless veterans. For women veterans, she is dedicated to educating them about gender-specific benefits available, helping them to receive the benefits to which they are entitled and connecting them to community resources.
Kristine speaks frequently and promotes veteran programs in the media. She serves as Board Member for Military Women In Need, and as Veterans Advisory Commissioner for
Los Angeles County Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (MVA). She volunteers at Women Veterans Outreach and The Vet Hunters Project.
