Larissa Guimaraes is the Human Resources Director for JBS -Swift. She has 20 years in her career, and is responsible for interviewing, recruitment, payroll, professional development, compensation and benefits. She does interviewing for senior leader positions, and has a team of 20 people. She has weekly meetings with her 5 direct reports, and meets with the rest of the team monthly.
She meets with the marketing and finance departments regularly, makes and discusses finance and commercial strategic decisions, and checks and answers e-mails daily. She enjoys dealing with people, and she wants to impact and change lives positively. She credits her success to recruitment and development, as well as listening and empathy.
She holds a Master's degree in Human Resources from FAAP University, 2005, and she participated in a conference on retail. She speaks at the annual corporate event. In the coming years, she would like to stay with her present company, possibly working in another country. She is proud to help people to develop professionally. The highlight of her career is watching her team grow and be promoted.
