LaTonya Wilcox is currently the Child Support Examiner for Monroe County Department of Human Services. She graduated from SUNY College at Brockport in 2012 with a degree in Criminal Justice and also Sociology.
Previously, she was a Title Examiner for SSI Emergency and Property Emergency in Rochester, NY. While holding that position she was responsible for SSI client emergencies for rent and home establishment. She was also tasked to address property issues for clients dealing with mortgages, foreclosures and property emergencies.
Before that role, she was a Title Examiner for Shelter Plus care for almost 10 years. During that time she was responsible for determining and processing various types of public housing assistance (temporary and durational). She also was in charge of assessing client’s needs via background check/ client interface. She advocated for client’s public assistance in safe and transitional housing care as well.
