Laura Meyer is Senior Manager, Category Management at Sargento Foods, Inc. Laura is a knowledgeable category management leader with a passion for understanding the shopper needs and wants, providing the right insights to allow the category to grow, and leveraging the brands to increase brand opportunities.
Laura began her career working eight years for Land O’ Lakes in accounts receivable, payroll and assisting the controller. She worked as an accountant for over four years at Russ Rothwell, CPA’s. She took a role as Financial Accounting Manager before becoming Customer Insight and Analyst for Johnsonville then her current position at Sargento. She found her passion in category management, which is equivalent to director roles at most other companies.
A graduate of Lakeland College with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Business Management, Laura is proud to attain her MBA from Cardinal Stritch University later this year. She is a member of the Category Management Association and the National Frozen and Refrigerated Association. Laura enjoys travel, volunteer work, and spending time with family.
