Lauren Baird is Co-founder and Creative Director of Ways of Change LLC, an ethically sourced fashion brand connecting people affected by conflict and migration to a global community. Ways of Change offers fair wages to refugees so that they may support and empower themselves through entrepreneurship while sustaining and building upon their traditional skills. Where possible, Ways of Change products are made from up-cycled, organic, natural, cruelty-free, fairly traded and locally sourced materials.
Lauren and her cousin realized the potential of this business while on a trip to Thailand. They recognized the craftsmanship and need for work and fair wages. They took the local Thai jewelry styles international while helping to make a better life for the denizens. Lauren is a fashion expert and stylist with a Bachelor’s degree in PR from Southern New Hampshire University. A young professional woman, Lauren is passionate about making a difference in the world of fashion and business.
