I have an amazing niece and nephew that I love being able to spend time with anytime I can.
Highly motivated professional with over 18 years’ experience with health and safety in major building, civil, industrial and retail construction, mining and water services industries. Ability to coordinate with multiple jobsites (1-20 sites at a given time). Flexibility to perform in a self-orientated environment and as the member of a team. Excellent presentation skills to range from small worksite groups to large industry leader groups (i.e. Aggregate Producers of British Columbia). Coordinated safety practices for multiple contractors on project scopes ranging from $5 million to $1.5 billion.

I have over 18 years of experience in my current field of health and safety. I am a safety coordinator for AFDE. I help with ensuring that meaningful tailgate meeting are prepared and held with front-line workers by continuous coaching of supervisory staff. My fieldwork involves coaching and mentoring with workers, supervisors, managers and client representatives. I have enjoyed developing safety programs, policies and procedures. . I attended a technical college and have received many certifications from safety courses. I very much enjoy contractor management and assisting small contractors in further developing their safety programs. I was previously a Board of Directors member for the BC Construction Safety Alliance and a past Chair with the Alberta Construction Safety Association Regional Safety Committee.. In the next few years I would like to continue exploring new innovations in the health and safety field and furthering my experience in senior management roles.. In my free time I enjoy traveling and spending time with her family and friends and my rescue cats. I am looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
