Lene Feldthus Andersen started her career at Center for Regional and Tourism Research in 2007 as a consultant and has been at her current position as Director for the past two and a half years. Lene handles internal coordination of meetings, strategic management, deals with external partners and internal partners, and oversees the sales personnel and activities at the Center for Regional and Tourism Research which is done on a national level. She is a member of the Trade Union for Leaders Denmark and Business Leaders Networks Gudhjem. Lene is part of the MIT Alumni Association and received two Master Degrees from MIT in Civil Engineering and Technology and Policy. She also received a Masters in Environmental Management from the Danish Technical University in 1998. Lene has a chapter in the book "Spatial Dynamics in the Experience Economy" by Routledhe to be published in the Spring of 2015. She is fluent in Danish, English, German, and French and has good comprehension of the Swedish and Norwegian languages. Lene enjoys horseback riding, which she has done since she was younger and took part of a few competitions. She also enjoys kyaking. Lene attributes her success to ambition and stubbornness and looks forward to continuing to work at her current company.
