Lily Twining, founder and owner of Blackbird Production Services, Ltd., has worked in many different areas of the entertainment field. Lily received her Bachelors Degree from Towson University and her MFA from the Yale School of Drama. Since then she has served as Technical Director at the Goodspeed Opera House, Asst. Scenic Designer for Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark, and Project Manager for Hudson Scenic Studio. Her freelance work has taken her to PRG Scenic Technologies, Proof Productions, Showman Fabricators, and as an adjunct faculty member for New York City College of Technology and as the interim Technical Director at the Yale School of Drama and Yale Repertory Theatre. Since starting Blackbird, Lily has served as Technical Supervisor for Rocky Broadway, If/Then Musical, Empire the Musical, Grand Rapid Ballet's new production of The Nutcracker, shows aboard Holland America Line's ms Eurodam, ms Nieuw Amsterdam and ms Koningsdam and as Technical Director for Production Glue & Nike's Zoom City Arena, Vornado's Plaza 33 and the National Geographic's Experience Mars event. She served as the Technical Production Manager for the NFL Experience Times Square, a 40,000 sq. ft. experience produced by Cirque du Soleil. Lily will soon begin a new role as Senior Technical Director for Disney Parks Live Entertainment. Lily is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member of the WAoFP.
