Lisa Carney is a Radiation Safety Technician for Bruce Power where she is responsible for monitoring air quality and surveying equipment as well as surveying sites for contamination and source checking all instruments. A dynamic leader, Ms. Carney is passionate about the importance of efficiency in her work, and remains true to following policy and procedure. She credits her success thus far to always saying "yes" to opportunity.
Prior to this role, Ms. Carney trained in nursing, where she found great success developing care plans for patients before deciding to transition to a more scientific area. She is a member of the Women in Nuclear Industry Association.
In her spare time, she enjoys remaining active by riding horses, biking and hiking.
