Lorena Segura González is Project & Design Manager for IHP. She is an expert in building hotels, construction, and she start all projects, defines the program, takes care of the budget costs, planning, engineers, architecture, structure, equipment, and help clients to hire the best team to do the project. She is originally from Mexico and moved to Madrid 16 years ago. She worked with architects in Mexico during her career, and she is close with the clients. When she moved to Madrid she studied for a Masters Degree. Two years ago, she moved to new company where she is working now to build hotels because it is a field she loves to work in. She works hard with clients, and handles all projects from start to finish. She holds a Masters Degree in Project Management from a University in Madrid in 2003. She also specializes in a development program that is focused on being director in finance in Madrid. She is a part of the CMI Project Management Institute. In the next few years she is looking to make a transition of her career, and make a business project to help people have a better place to live and have her own business, working to talk with the designer team and study for her project management certification. She credits her success to dedication, and loves the things she does. She likes to be involved with women groups to give opportunities in business. She likes to be a mentor, helping others develop their careers. She is proud of the teamwork and communication she offers in her work. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
