Ms. Lori McGraw-Baker is the Senior Director of HR Integration for McKesson Medical Surgical, where she has worked for the past 2 years. Prior to working for McKesson, she was with PSS World Medical. When the two companies merged, Ms. McGraw-Baker was given the responsibility for overseeing the transition into the new company. In this role, she worked with employees in all departments to assure the migration went smoothly. Her analytical nature has influenced her career path, as she moved up in the HR world. Ms. McGraw-Baker states that she discovered she enjoyed having her pulse on an organization. Human Resources combines all aspects of what she enjoys most. She said that understanding the needs of the business and builds rapport with those who report to her. She is able to suggest new services or benefits for companies she works with. Over the past couple of years, Ms. McGraw-Baker has been instrumental in managing the change throughout the integration process. She has been able to be directly involved in helping her co-workers make the change to a new business model, as they transitioned from their previous company to the new one.
