Lori L. Palmer is President of a 60 year old company, REB Storage Systems International. They have been offering designers, builders and installers of storage and material handling solutions since 1962. She oversees a team of 60 employees who run an international organization. Their expertise has led them into different niche markets through the years such as Records Storage, Retail, Automotive, Food and Beverage, Moving and Storage, Distribution.
Loru started out part time as a receptionist and worked her way up through the company for the past 40 years. She is now part time owner and President. Other owners of the company mentored her and gave her "an education no college could have given." She speaks at MHEDA, Women in Business Division and at various other organizational speaking events mostly around Women in Business.
In the future, she wants to keep growing the company and help mentor her employees to help develop their own careers. She believes her success revolves around the team she has surrounded herself with. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
