With over a decade of experience in her field, Lori Hill-Sanders is the Executive Director of Disability Network, Wayne County Detroit where it is her responsibility to make sure the program is being developed, that operations of all programs are running properly, developing and maintaining relationships with other partners and public policy and having a relationship with state legislatures to help people with disabilities.
After beginning her career as a counselor, Lori transitioned to acting as a consultant with non-profit organizations, giving her experience in grant writing, communications and developing programs to meet the needs of the consumers. She holds her Master's Degree in Education and Guidance and Counseling from Wayne State University and is a former member of the ACA (American Counseling Association).
Moving forward, Lori would like to turn the organization she is in around for the better and to implement growth. When not engaged with work, she enjoys traveling to new places, home decorating and spending time with family.
