Lucia Reyes has been in the field of education for 27 years as teacher and now as an administrator, as she is the Principal of the Ministry of Education. Prior to this role, Lucia taught English to a variety of speakers and holds a professional qualification in teaching in her country. As Principal, she spearheads all operations of the school, meets any special needs, and provides counselling directly to the student body. With a true passionate for education, Lucia is perfectly equipped to enrich the lives of her students and fellow educators.
Lucia received her BA in English from The University of the West Indies in 1990. Also a dynamic speaker, she frequently gives lectures and conferences about education and how it affects your future and she represents the Union at these public events. Moving forward, Lucia hopes to continue in her field by improving her school and eventually establishing a more modernized and student-friendly building.
