More than 25 years
Luz Maria Valed has been a professional photographer for more than 25 years. She began her career in commercial photos but has always felt a strong passion for the artistic side of her profession. She has had expositions in Mexico, USA, Spain and The Netherlands and has taken many portraits of artists in Mexico, photos that are used for catalogs, books, etc. Lately, Luz has been working with mirrors and photos creating new artworks.
In 2008, Luz's work appeared in the Catalogues of Julio Garland at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
When not engaged with work, Luz enjoys traveling, movies, sports, and art. Also a passionate philanthropist, she frequently volunteers time and resources to those less fortunate in her community.
