My hobby is experiencing whatever LIFE throws at me ... I mostly catch what is positive to me.
I live with my elderly mother who led a fantastic life, but doesn't want to believe it.
I am a trained Administrative Assistant (formerly known as "secretary"), I have worked with a Caribbean airline at their city office, managed a hotel equipment supplies company, before partnering with a friend to do and retail hand painted garments, which led to costumes for theatre productions, which led to managing special events, which led to even greater events (Jazz festivals, exhibitions, weddings, award shows, company/corporate dinner and other events, and the list goes on. I went back into hand painting textiles, which I am quite happy doing - on my own!

Lyn Bristol is the Creative Director and owner of LBM Designs for the past ten years. Her business centres on fashion, and textile design and production. She grew up surrounded by an artistic family, mostly in the fashion genre.
She was recently commissioned by a local Carnival Band to hand paint fabrics for their revellers (for a second time), which proved quite successful for her business.
She wants to serve as an example for others in her country that are in the same industry, and wants to show them that they are not stuck in their current condition and can turn this line of work into a legitimate business. She also wants to possibly start her own fashion arts cooperative to further achieve these goals. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
