Maja Simovic is Head of Facilities Management for Lustica Development AD (, where she has been for the past 4 years. With over 13 years of experience in the U.S. Embassy, Maja is now the head of destination management department and oversees the portfolio, which includes services in the field of facility management, project management, procurement, property management, rental management, etc. Her current project involves participation in building of the new destination within Montenegro and operations within the developed destination. She also oversees the management of utilities infrastructure and supply, to include the electrical power supply, water supply, waste disposal and waste water treatment. Having earned a bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Montenegro in Podgorica, Maja also has expertise in health and safety and business forecasting. She has a keen grasp of the big picture and is proud of the legacy she left behind from her days at the U.S. Embassy. Looking ahead, she aims to receive a certificate of facility and project management and to grow within her profession and her company, as well as to continue to improve and develop the best possible options for Montenegro. Outside of work, she enjoys sports of all kinds, travel and reading.
