Dr. Muna Almutawa has more than 18 years of professional experience in her career. Currently, Muna is operating out of UAE working as a Doctor with the Ministry of Health. Muna main role and responsibilities consist of being a clinician, doing administrative work, examining patients, handling emergencies cases, working with people in the area of ophthalmology to assist with blindness, work with the legal and environmental committee etc.
Muna was prompted to get involved in this profession by way of natural progression and passion, Muna always had a thing for helping people , she decided to be a doctor and stuck with it, never looking back. Muna's area of expertise is Glaucoma. Muna studied at Cairo University in Egypt where she received her Master’s degree. Muna is a member with The Dubai Ladies Group and The Dubai Environmental Society.
In the next few years Muna plans to continue to grow, become a glaucoma surgeon, continue to develop and continue to make a difference in her profession. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
