Mamie-Esther Kayumba-Bujakera has been a business owner for the past 12 years. She is Director of Nguya Trading International Corp, and focuses on project management in three areas: Medical, Consulting and Immigration. Mamie oversees all strategy, business direction, training, fundraising, marketing and new business development for the firm.
She holds a master's degree in Entrepreneurship from Queens University, and is known for her innovation. As a black African female business owner, she inspires many, and speaks publicly at conferences and as a business coach. Mamie is a member of the ICCRC- Immigration Council, FASOST, and the Council of Food Scientists & Engineers. She was recipient of the Award for Best 100 Black Businesses to Follow, and credits her success to her perseverance.
Looking ahead, she will continue to focus on developing business opportunities in Africa. Outside of work, she volunteers with YES - Hope for Africa and the Catholic Women's League.
