Marcia Sena is the CEO of Senior Concierge BR. Marcia has more than 25 years in the Healthcare Industry. She has worked for several multinational corporations such as Pfizer, GSK and Grunenthal. About 5 years ago Marcia started facing the difficulties a typical Sandwich Generation woman faces: how to balance career, children, household chores, and give support to aging parents.
Through her struggles came the idea of launching a company that could provide services to elderly and also be a helping hand to the adult children. Senior Concierge was born, with an innovative concept to Brazil: aging in place and focus on elderly’s health instead of disease.
Marcia is now CEO of her own business that she established 4 years ago, her main role is to oversee the business and make sure it is running efficiently and effectively, focus on the marketing, finances and overall strategy . The company’s key role is to offer services to the elderly, provide transportation and nurses services etc.
Marcia started her career as a pharmacist working for Pfizer, used to work in marketing and sales, continued to grow with high level positions until she became very busy professionally and with a family and wanted more flexibility. Marcia was prompted to get involved in this profession by way of natural progression and passion. Marcia’s area of expertise is health marketing.
Marcia’s highest level of education is a Master’s Degree in Quality Management. She does lots of public speaking consisting of speaking to people in their 40's and 50's to help balance their life. Marcia also lectures to students about her business. In the next few years Marcia plans to continue to grow, continue to develop and most importantly continue to make a difference in her career. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
