Marci Kalina is the Owner and Creative Director of Marci Kalina Design, a full service design studio in Pittsburgh. Marci has built her career in design, advertising, and marketing communications since 1985. She was the University of Pittsburgh's Executive Creative Director for thirteen years and previously operated a design firm in both Pittsburgh and Seattle, Washington. Marci has taught design classes to industry professionals and has worked with aspiring artists on portfolios and career development. Her education in multimedia is from Art Institutes International (Pittsburgh and Seattle). From coast to coast, Marci has brought unique creative strategies to a wide range of clients in corporate, non-profit, education, healthcare, retail, political, environment, and government businesses. She has been commissioned by numerous clients to design and manage exclusive, high profile projects. Marci has served on the Pittsburgh chapter board of directors for the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA).
