Ophthalmic evaluation, surgeries of my field: pterigium surgery, facial rejuvenation, blepharoplastics, ectropion and entropion correcction, eyelid ptosis correcction, eyelids tumors, reconstruccion of eyelids, enucleation, evisceration, lacrimal problems, anophthalmic socket reconstruction.
María Adelina Álava is an Opthamologist for Centro Oftalmológico y Oculoplástico. I have my private practice for one year now, and has three and a half years total experience as an ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon. At the end of medicine school I was between dermatology and ophthalmology, I decided for ophthalmology and discover I could combine the two fields I like the most: ophthalmology and dermatology through oculoplastics surgery and fall in love.
I see patients and conducts eye exams, performs oculoplastic surgery, cosmetic procedures (Botox), and rejuvenation and esthetics.
She holds a Medicine degree at Ecuador2010, Ophthalmology degree in Guatemala 2016 and Oculoplastics in Colombia 2017.
In the coming years she would like to continue as an ophthalmologist and oculoplastic surgeon, and grow her practice. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
