Maria Marinaro is a self- employed, executive and life coach with 18 years of experience in the field. She speaks three languages (Spanish, Italian and English). She migrated from Venezuela to Spain in February 2018, and since then she is working on developing a net of relationships in order to know people and let her work be known.. She has a Bachelor´s double major degree in political science and economics from the University of Rhode Island (1985). She worked in the banking industry until 1995 where she had a successful career but it did not render her a satisfied professional. She started a process of self-discovery through therapy and body work that made her realize that her deeper intention is to help people. As the process unfolded she came to a turning point decision to leave the banking industry and begun formal studies in psychotherapy and body work. She also studied life and executive coaching in order to render organizations as humane as they are successful and people engaged and empowered. Maria’s expertise is recognized to be in helping people realize their knowledge and opportunity to change their lives when they connect to their true voice, developing high performance teams and generating responsible leadership in people and organizations. In 2011 she gave a conference on “Body work in coaching” at the Venezuelan 1st Coaching Congress. In several occasions has given workshops at the Venezuelan Coaching Association (AVECOP) on body work for coaches and was a teacher at the Coaching Competencies training at CENDECO (Universidad Metropolitana) and Instituto Avila School of Coaching. She recently published an article on leadership in the Liquid World (www.coachsi.org). In the next few years she wants to lift up consciousness in order to reverse the isolation and sense of powerlessness in people and turn it into action to create the future we want instead of being surprised and swept by it. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other professionals in order to learn and hopefully create with others.
