More than 25 years
Maria has been active in education for 38 years. She has focused on empowering the young woman in her country of the Philippines. She wants to bring a quality of life to woman. Her skills are not limited to the classroom or even to the college. She volunteers to educate the families in remote places of her country by providing knowledge on medical, parenting, and basic education. Maria has upped the standards of education in the Philippines so much that other countries have taken notice. The future is bright for the girls and women in a country who may until now not see the value and beauty that the woman of the Philippine culture has to offer, but with an inspiring woman like Maria to advocate for their education, the future of these women open a brand new era for this country. Maria's diligence will change the way women are educated, perceived, and how the Philippines conducts business both domestic and internationally.
