Maria Trenzado is Partner & Attorney at Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer. She is board certified by the Florida Bar as a specialist in civil trial law. She leads the General Liability team of her firm's Tampa office and has expertise in the areas of professional negligence, construction negligence, products liability, trucking and transportation negligence, premises liability, security negligence, fire losses, employment law, information technology law, and commercial and business litigation. Ms. Trenzado's practice also encompasses regulatory compliance, insurance coverage defense, extra-contractual litigation, claims avoidance and alternative dispute resolution. She is certified as a mediator in the Florida State and Federal Courts and approved by the Florida Supreme Court as an Arbitrator. For the past three years, Maria Trenzado has been recognized by SuperLawyers.com as a pre-eminent trial attorney in Florida. In 2010, Ms. Trenzado was featured as one of the leading women in law by "New York" Magazine. Ms. Trenzado was re-appointed by the Florida Bar President to serve in the Civil Trial Board Certification Committee. She is a "Fellow" of the Litigation Counsel of America, a Trial Lawyer Honorary Society Composed of One-Half of One Percent of American Lawyers Selected for Their Accomplishments and Effectiveness in Litigation and Their Superior Ethical Reputation. She is also a member of the Professional Liability Defense Federation. This year she has been invited by Rimkus to speak at its annual conference. In the past, she has been a guest speaker at the Central Florida Claims Association in Tampa; a panel participant at the DRI Products Liability Conference in Las Vegas and a guest speaker at the American Conference Institute's Premier Advanced Summit on Fire and Casualty Claims and Litigation in New York City and the Third National Forum on Defending and Managing Trucking Litigation in Atlanta.
