Marta Dougan Oyono is the Managing Director for La Afrikana Group LTD. She has been in her current role for one year and has been empowering women since 2007. Marta is a life coach and she had three companies and wanted to incorporate all companies into one. She sees clients either by phone or Skype and does different sessions outdoors such as walking and holding women empowerment events.
In 2007 while in college Marta’s father wanted her to be in IT. She took a course in business information systems and didn’t like it. She took a course in psychology and realized that was her passion and went for it . After taking a class in life coaching she realized her purpose Marta has Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology from London Metropolitan University in 2004. She does a lot of speaking at women empowerment events.
In the next few years Marta would love to have a training center for young ladies to receive all the training and tools to go into this world. She would also love to have a women’s retreat and is looking for an old house in the outskirts of Lisbon where women can come together and find peace within themselves. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
