Dr. Mary Chambers is an Associate Professor at the University of Leeds. She has over twenty years of experience in her career field. She teaches psychological courses, some Master’s courses, supervises PhD students, writes papers and does research. She started as a researcher in Higher Education and then moved on to lecturing and then became a teacher. Her area of expertise is in dyslexia. Mary has a Doctoral in Education from the University of Leeds in 2000. She belongs to the Dyslexia Foundation as well as the National Association of Special Education Needs. Mary speaks at conferences about her research within the developmental coordination area. She had one of her research articles published in 2016 and has on in the works for publication now. Mary attributes her success to her hard work and her dedication to her field. In the next few years she hopes to become a full time professor. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
