Mary Ellen Seale is the CEO and Founder of the National Cybersecurity Society. She has had a long and distinguished career in the Federal government. She started her education graduating from The University of Georgia with a Bachelors Degree and then went on to attain a Masters in Business Administration from The American University Kogod School of Business in 1996.
Mary Ellen recently retired after 30 years of government service, with the last several years working at the highest levels in federal cyber security. She started a nonprofit organization called The National Cybersecurity Society.
Mary Ellen previously was Deputy Director for The National Cybersecurity Center for The Department of Homeland Security in Washington D.C.. Prior to this role, she had several other appointments with the DHS as Deputy Director of Cybersecurity Coordination, Executive Director of Modernization and Deputy CIO, FCC, Director of Office Administrative Operations and as Senior Cyber Technologist.
Mary Ellen also held a seat at The Defense Intelligence Agency as Special Advisor developing and designing the Department of Defense wide effort for the Joint Intelligence and Operations Center across all Combatant Commands. She was the advisor to Director on special operations planning and execution.
