Maureen Collins has been in her industry for more than 25 years. She now has her own consulting firm 'Straight Talk' based in Johannesburg, South Africa. In her workshops and personal coaching people learn to handle the conversations that can derail careers and end relationships.  Over the years she has participated in public speaking engagements both internal as well as external and has published two books: Straight Talk:Conversations at Work that Get Results, is essential reading for anyone who needs to manage performance and hold others to account at work. Straight Talk: How to Manage Conversations that Scare You, applies the principles of Straight Talk to conversations in families and personal relationships where stakes and emotions run high. The methodology she applies to behaviour change virtually guarantees that it will change and stay changed. She bases her success on hard work and perseverance. Her future goals consist of building up her personal consulting practice alongside her work with corporate clients.
