Melanie Reiser is Vice President of Country Boys Painting. She has over 23 years running the business with her husband. She is responsible for HR, legal, AP/AR, bookkeeping, recruiting, marketing and training. Her husband does the estimating and supervises the teams in the field. She was an Officer of the Law for 17 Years with a degree in Criminal Psychology. She was involved with pre-sentencing but policy changed to such a degree that she could no longer honestly perform the job. After some time in the mental health field, and then as a paralegal, she was retired but decided to join forces with her husband as the business was experiencing explosive growth. 90% of their business is commercial, covering restaurants, senior centers and hospitals. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Arizon, 1997. She is a member of the Greater Business Exchange of Phoenix, PDCA, Painters Decorators, and Contractors of America. She was featured on the cover of this month’s "Alternative Women's Institute" magazine in an article, "Strong Woman in Business." She credits her success to successful partnerships with contractors, the market, and their reputation (currently turning away work because already functioning at capacity). She aims to keep growing the business with has consistently doubled and tripled, from three employees to over 30. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
