Melita Martinovic-Vukojevic is the COO Financial Management and Country Steering Expert for Erste Group Bank AG. She has been in her current position for almost six years. She is responsible for several countries, in charge of operations and IT area and has control of all financials and banking.
She was prompted to go into this field when there was a fusion between two banks in Croatia and she decided that she didn't want to be apart of that; she left and went to consultancy. Melita’s expertise are in controlling, IT area and project management. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economic from DOBA Faculty University.
In the next few years she wants to have a head position in a financial industry and wants to change companies. Melita attributes her success to mot feeling pressured to prove herself and staying persistent. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and to gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
