Merril Ahern is an accomplished professional with over 10 years experience in education. Merril is currently a professor and trainer assessor with Captain Cook College and focuses on a number of different areas. She maintains communication with students regarding course studies and resources and materials that are invaluable to their growth and learning. Merril is skilled in resource writing and instructional design, providing the support needed within curriculum learning providing assessments and training packages that help further and foster the learning process. She is experienced in working in both the regular campus learning as well as in e-learning environments. Merril takes pride in constantly displaying the passion she has for education and teaching within the advanced technological landscape. The mentoring and counseling aspects of her day to day role provides her with a sense of pride and purpose in assisting students reach their goals. Merril is a professional of the highest quality with the ability to see the holes within any particular situation and find the effective course of action to solve any problems that may arise. Merril is currently completing her Masters Degree in education and looks forward to growing within her role and serving more managerial roles in the future.
