Mette Ferkingstad is Vice President of Finance and Control for Statoil, a leading international energy company in oil and gas production. Mette has extensive experience in finance and has excelled in a variety of industries throughout her career. Of her many responsibilities are financial supply chain, accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as functional equitability.
With a passion for corporate finance and accounting, Mette is driven by a desire to assess problems within business and influence growth. She has broad experience in auditing, managerial finance, internal controls, accounting, change management, financial reporting, financial analysis, executive management, financial advisement, and international business.
Mette has an MBA from Norwegian School of Economics, 2011 and attributes her success to being open to new opportunities, having a willingness to take risks and working hard. Mette is a proud mother of three sons, ages 14, 17 and 20. She is a active with the Alumni Association of the Norwegian School of Economics and enjoys spending time in the outdoors.
