Ms. Cao is a Client Partner in Korn Ferry’s New York office, where she focuses on senior-level search assignments in Consumer/Commercial Banking, Asset Management and Real Estate, Chief Information Officers Practice, as well as serves as Korn Ferry’s China liaison with U.S.-based companies and Chinese companies seeking overseas expansion.  Ms. Cao leverages almost two decades experience across management consulting, banking, venture capital / private equity and executive search, to provide strategic and human capital advice to Korn Ferry’s clients domestically and internationally.  She has covered the financial services sector in the U.S. and in China, and placed senior executives across functional areas at multinational and Chinese companies, from Fortune 500 to private equity-backed firms.

Ms. Cao provides strategic human capital advice to achieve talent management solutions.  Prior to joining Korn Ferry, Ms. Cao used to run her own consulting business and also worked with McKinsey & Co., both in the US and in China. She also worked as a policy advisor at the World Bank to serve the bank’s member countries.  Previously, Ms. Cao worked at Citi and JP Morgan Chase in the U.S., where she was involved in a range of investment banking activities across syndicated finance, securities research, corporate M&A and leveraged finance.  She started her career in CVIC, one of the earliest venture capital firms in China.
