Michelle Markaroff is Senior Strategic Advisor, Governments and International Organizations at PPP-Connect, her own consultancy office. She opened PPP-Connect in January 2013 and has worked as an Associate Partner to Schuman Associates, a Brussels-based European Consultancy, bringing in her expertise as a PPP leader. Michelle speaks fluent French, English, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, and German. Her vision is to develop high level collaboration and experience with like minded women and identify models that can be easily replicated in emerging markets. Michelle has 38 years of professional experience with leading teams and organizations at various stages of maturity in the IT, education sectors and in particular, in the cooperation and development field. She has in-depth knowledge of all the major International Financial Institutes (IFIs) such as EC, World Bank, EIB, ADB, DFID, Multilateral Agencies (UNIDO, UNDP, UNICEF), EU bilateral agencies. She has extensive experience working with governments, ministries, donors, international and local companies in the emerging markets. She has Facilitated Public Private Partnerships to raise funding and developing consortia and liaising with large multinationals Project Management in various locations.
