Minerva Rosas is a very successful university teacher and a researcher in the area of Applied Linguistics. She has written over 30 articles in her field, which have been published in national and international Journals, and some of these have been presented in International Conferences. She is well known for her leadership and commitment to learning in her field. Minerva holds a Doctorate in Linguistics from the Catholic University of Valparaiso, Chile, and earned her MA in Applied Linguistics at the Austral University of Chile. She was selected by the Ministry of Education of Chile in 2005 to participate in the Mentor Training Programme, whose goal was to prepare Mentors along the country to help and guide pre-service teachers during their practicum and to accompany novice teachers during their first year at schools. Minerva looks forward to collaborating with like-minded professionals. She speaks fluent English, Spanish, and some French.
