Miriam Peralta is a fashion designer and professor at The IDC Design and Communication, which has more than 50 years of experience shaping and guiding new generations of designers in a holistic way not only with knowledge of art and its history but the hand of the retail industry and constant change. Miriam brings her more than 20 years of experience in the design world to IDC, as well as her experience as a consultant, producer of fashion-related events and television productions. Miriam travels to Countries for fashion shows, she produces the design hands-on or using computer aid design. She keeps up with trends in fashion and market research for the retail industry. Miriam feels a deep connection with the history of art and culture creating ties between the past and the current world aiming her advice together with organizations dedicated to social support in ancestral communities far away from the cities that are responsible for Products valued worldwide as alpaca fibre. She holds a Master in Higher Education as well as a specialty in Technology and Science related to Art and Design. She has received different awards and recognition from 1993 Nationals and Internationals. Miriam is a professional with a great sense of service, has collaborated with charitable events as support to the volunteer firefighters of Miraflores-Perú. Born in Cusco, Peru, Miriam speaks different languages such as Quechua, Spanish and English. She is always willing to mentorship young people desirous of knowledge in the world of design and art; her ability to adapt and resilience has allowed her to have a wide experience in her profession for which she feels a deep passion. She is looking forward to networking and connecting with other like-minded professionals, and gaining the recognition and credibility of being a member.
