With over 15 years of experience in her field, Maria Kollerstrom is an Entrepreneur and the CEO of Konomi Consulting AB where she is a consultant and works in the field of project management, specializing in leadership roles. She is currently scanning the market and trying to get involved with more networks. Maria studied programming and networks in the beginning but She considered herself too social to be a programmer and decided to build her own career path as a consultant within IT. She made the shift into the career she is currently in with the help of her mentor in the US and she has been able to thrive in the consulting field but is now aiming to take it to the next level to increase females into the field of IT/TECH.
Maria holds her Diploma in Project Management and Scrum. She does webinars about bitcoin mining in the tech arena and would like to grow in the speaking field sharing her experience from working in a male dominant arena and how that have made her wanting to change focus to impact women in IT. Moving forward, Maria looks forward to speaking in public more and making an impact by steering groups and upper management in large corporations in the IT and tech arena through consulting. She is a very energetic person and skilled at getting people involved, so she looks forward to working more in the field of corporate engagement and wants to work with men to embrace female leadership.
When not engaged with work, Maria enjoys singing. Also a passionate philanthropist, she works as a mentor with the organization established by Queen Silvia of Sweden. Also active with Save The Children and is also a "nattvandrare", an organization that ensures children's safety on the street at night.
