Monica Markeset is Director of The Homestore Cabo Furniture Store. She saw a need in Cabo for people moving to Los Cabos, Mexico and wanting to buy or rent nice homes. There weren’t any furniture stores that had an American owner. When she opened www.homestorecabo.com she had a big client base and they trusted that she would stay.
Monica is bilingual and also teaches at schools about interior design, and writes for home furnishing magazines. She previously wrote as a hotel professional. In the next few years, she will be opening up a branch in another near by city. The key to her success has been great customer service, creativity, design skills to make your place stand out and a large home decorating store easy to find next to Home Depot.
She has a solid international background, which gave her an appreciation of different cultures. When she is decorating, she is able to bring in a lot of those cultural mixes.
