Dr. Monika Meier is a Doctor of Medicine for Frau. She is also CEO of Horsepower for people. She decided to change her career and outlook in making a great balance, to become a strong women. She owns 10 therapy horses, and works helping younger women.
As a horse enthusiast and rider since childhood, she worked during her medical studies intensively with the positive effects of horses on mentally and physically handicapped children, the use of horses in the rehabilitation and in psychotherapy.
After graduation, she completed her doctorate at the University of Basel, Switzerland. She started working part-time before forming the Monty Roberts International Learning Center in California on. She closed her perennial training successfully and was certified as an instructor off the Monty Roberts method in mainland Europe.
Monika attributes her success to having an open mind and being willing to change. Back in Switzerland, she works in collaboration with business consultants, managers and psychologists continuing the training concept for managers.
