With over 16 years of experience in her field, May Shalabieh is the Founder and CEO of Distinctive Imprint Management Consultancy where she spearheads consultancy for a myriad of clientele as well as the orchestration and execution of public seminars on civic education, youth participation, and other topics. They are currently formulating strategy for Ajwad in Saudi Arabia, a company dedicated to helping the homeless and providing them care as well as integration into society. Ms. Shalabieh's company currently has branches in Jordan and Saudi Arabia. After receiving her Bachelor's degree in English Literature with a minor in Italian Language from the University of Jordan in 1998, Ms. Shalabieh went on to enjoy rapid success in her field. She has provided training on Monitoring and Evaluation for Ministries in Jordan in cooperation with National Council for Family Affairs and UNICEF, analysis and strategic planning for a number of bodies ranging from UNESCO Libya to Ministries in Jordan, and consultancies on evaluation of women Syrian Refugees with Caritas. She has also occupied the post of Programme Manager for the Regional Assistance Programme, IREX, covering the MENA region, Gulf and Yemen, including evaluation, management and monitoring of projects in the various countries. Moving forward, Ms. Shalabieh hopes to expand her company internationally and to continue networking with likeminded female professionals. When not engaged with work, she enjoys travel, reading and sports.
